Flexible Working from Day One of Employment
Finally, just a quick note for readers that the Flexible Working (Amendment) Regulations 2023 have now been laid before Parliament. Earlier versions of the legislation did not include a right to flexible working from day one and left in the previous 26-week service provision.
This has now been amended and it is now likely that the day one right to apply for flexible working will come into effect, along with the other changes, in April 2024.
